Not since The Never Ending Story have I found a more magical story! Once I started reading it I couldn’t stop until I reached the ending. In fact, I gave myself a book hangover because I read it in one day! The characters are richly developed and the magical creatures that I met along the way only lent to a more enjoyable story for me. One man who has worked and vowed his whole life to protect to sovereign of the kingdom became so much more in this story than just a protector. He has become a trainer in the arts of fighting, a friend and a father to his young charges that he would give his own life for. Not because he has to but out of love. I found myself smiling so many times throughout the story due to some of the many comical scenes along the way and also cringing in others. Thomas Watson’s very imaginative style of writing painted a very vivid picture in my mind as if I was watching a movie. The creatures came to life on the pages for me and I could actually see the griffons, fairies, dragons and all of the others as they played their roles in this magnificent story. This is a story for all ages, especially those who enjoy a wonderful fantasy written by an author who can spin a yarn and have you wanting more. I can’t wait for the next book in this highly entertaining series!Product details

Thanos Wow, prepare to go into a world of Magic where things you have only dreamt about are real, a world of Wizards and Witches and the fie. This is not generally the type of book I read but I thoroughly enjoyed it and had to keep reading to see what would happen next, not I am left with what next after all the preparation and training in this book, how will the skills be applied in the next, try it you'll like it.
One bad thing about the series is I want to read the next book NOW. I am enjoying this series a lot. The feeling of the books remind me of David Eddings when he was writing at his best. The books have an incredibly colorful and diverse set of characters that are easy to love. The relationships between the characters are complex and loving. I recommend these books. They have quickly become like family that I will want to visit time and again. Great job Tommy
I started reading Watson because of his post apoc books. I had been out of reading fantasy for a few years. I thought Middle Earth was the place I wanted to live until I met Thanos. I'm not going to discuss the mechanics of the writing because I don't care. There are a few editorial and grammatical errors but that is beside the point. The story is fantastic and this is only book two. The world is captivating and the characters stunning. I almost stopped in book one because I thought one of my favorite characters was killed as Thomas Watson has done in some of his other works but luckily he didn't this time. I absolutely recommend this story for anyone who loves any part of the fantasy genre. I want to move to Thanks and live with forever!
Mr. Watson has continued to amaze me. This is a really fun book and story, and I can see the pure joy Mr. Watson put in this world of his. The most important fact in all of Thomas's stories is that when your read this it should give you all types of emotions reading his stories. This world Thanos he has invisioned is a bit of fantasy of several different types, but most of all, this has me laughing to myself in spots. Not going to go through synopsis of the story, just buy the damn book and enjoy. P.S. if you don't want anyone watching you laughing to yourself, read this alone!
Another hit by Mr. Watson! Magic, Danger and did I mention Magic? If you love Magic, Faeries, Elves, Dwarfs, etc etc., and let's not forget Mr. Watson's brand of humor, also. This is the book for you! If you haven't read the first one, I urge you to do so as it's just as good as this 2nd one and you'll definitely want to know how it all began. I hope you'll come to love Ahnon who is such a badass as much as I do and then there's this one and that one but I can't tell you everything. There's too much awesomeness to tell. Enjoy!
How can you convince someone who doesn't think they like fantasy type books to try this one - so much more than fantasy. Thomas Watson continues the journey of growth and discovery for these young sovereigns and their Sho-ka/Protector/Teacher, Ahnon. He deftly adds a host of amazing characters which they bring into their group. The book is intriguing, suspenseful, delightful, and action packed. Thomas brings to life the magical creatures to the point they seem family and the evil ones - oh you just love to hate. And if you are a Thomas Watson fan you will find the Tommy-isms throughout. I loved it!

As Jedek devotes himself to the teachings of his mentor and guardian, Ahnon, he begins to discover the importance of his continued existence as the king of Thanos. Along with his wife, Kenna, Jedek will train and embrace all that he can in magic, wizardry, and survival.
With the help of mythical creatures that he had only ever read about, Jedek will find his strength and resolve to defeat the Overlord and his minions. But will he succeed in his endeavors? Can the two, with the help of Ahnon, save their world and their new friends?
An absolute joy to read this series! This first book captivated me and now, this second book spun me up further and left me desperate for more! With a fantasy storyline in the likes of J.K Rowling and Eoin Colfer, this is a series that will resonate with readers. Very well done!
