From the author of KEEP ME and MAN OF MY DREAMS.
Words to live by
Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
Don’t break the rules.
I’d managed to fail at both by fraternizing with the enemy’s brother. Guess I’d followed in my mother’s footsteps by ignoring all the rules when it came to love.
Mom was marrying a man only six years older than me. A man who was also her student. But the biggest surprise that came out of their wedding wasn’t my new stepdad’s academic status or his age.
It was Jack Davis—my stepfather’s best friend.
Jack was the guy who could change the whole game. He was quite possibly my soul mate. But time and circumstance were against us—there was no easy way around it. I was moving back to New York in two weeks and his sister, Aubrey, was the one person my family hated most in this world. How would his sister—the enemy—deal with another Edwards girl claiming what she believed was hers? The idea of letting Jack go crippled me. Would I have to cut ties with the only man I’d ever let into my heart?
FREEING DESTINYis a full-length, contemporary romance. This is book two in the Fate Series, but can be read as a standalone.

While at his roommate/best friend’s wedding, Jack Davis’s eyes are immediately drawn to Stella Edwards. And after spending time with her during the reception, he quickly realizes that she’s much more than a pretty face. Jack’s tired of the dating scene and ready to settle down. He can’t help but wonder if Stella could be “the one” he’s been waiting for. Their chemistry is palpable, and all signs blink YES in bright neon colors. The only problem is that she’s already made plans to move across the country in a couple of weeks.Having never experienced such deep feelings for a man before, Stella is hesitant to dismiss the notion of any kind of future with Jack. But, at the same time, she’s worked long and hard to finish college and move back to NYC to begin a career alongside her twin sister in the fashion industry. For the first time in her life, she considers deviating from her well-laid plans to follow her heart instead of her head.
Once her decision is made, she decides to stay behind in California for a couple of months after the rest of her family makes the cross-country move. She and Jack waste none of their short and precious time together. They live and love with the kind of ferocity that leaves them happy and breathless. As the clock slowly winds down to Stella’s moving day, an air of sadness hangs thickly in the air as they try to figure out how to overcome the miles that will soon lie between them.
The reappearance of Jack’s sister, Aubrey, a troubled young woman who nearly ruined Stella’s mother’s relationship with her new husband, further complicates matters. Jack tries to keep Aubrey at arm’s length out of respect for Stella, but can’t completely turn his back on family. His chilly demeanor and frequent brush-offs upset and anger Aubrey, setting off a chain of events that no one anticipates.
After briefly “meeting” Jack and Stella in Feel Again, I wanted to learn more about them. Faith Andrews didn’t disappoint with their story. I loved this couple’s witty banter, highly-charged sexual chemistry, and deep love for one another. When a book can make you laugh, cry, and mutter curses under your breath in the same chapter, you know you’ve found a real gem. I loved Jack’s fierce devotion and how Stella amended her carefully laid plans to let him be a part of her life. Aubrey is just as despicable as she was in the first novel in this series, but she added valuable elements of angst, drama, and suspense to this story that made me turn pages faster to find out what would happen after she lost her last marble. I highly recommend this book, and hope that Nina gets her own story in the future. She’s still a bit of an enigma, and I’d like to know more about her.

Freeing Destiny The Fate Series Book 2 edition by Faith Andrews Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Wonderful story. Well written. You will fall in love with Stella and Jack. You will hate Aubrey more than you did in the first book. Must read.
Faith Andrews is one amazing author!! I absolutely love her and all of her books. Freeing Destiny was an outstanding book. It will keep you hooked from the first page to the last page. Great book!!
With the same cast of characters you have come to know and love this installment in the series is an interesting change of pace. It brings the story full circle for this group and leaves you guessing.
This book picks up right were the last book in the Fate series left off. I loved how you got to see a glimpse of Gabby and Caleb's life but this is all about Jack and Stella. Unlike her mother who went for the younger guy this time Stella falls for an olde man. Her step fathers best friend. It's filled with love angst and some crazy twist and turns. A must read for me.
I loved this book so much, I couldn't swipe the pages fast enough, lol. This is the story of Jack and Stella. They make a beautiful couple, but there's one person who's not very happy with that! Please 1-click today and see for yourself why this book is going to be one of your favorites! I don't like to give spoilers, so I will just say read for yourself and find out what happens. I can't wait for Faith Andrews next book! I know it will be amazing!
Freeing Destiny is definitely a must read. Jack and Stella were such a perfect pair. I loved how their story began and ended. We all have some crazy family members. Unfortunately, Jack's sister was the craziest of all. She hurt Stella and her family more than once. I was so happy when Jack and Stella were able to move past the bad and just be in love.
"Stop fighting it, Stella. There are certain things in life that happen for a reason. You and I are going to happen - no matter what the ... purpose or result entails."
Faith brings us another beautiful love story with Freeing Destiny. Stella and Jack find something very unique, something that not a lot of people are lucky enough to share. The minute these 2 connected at the wedding of her mom and his best friend, they both knew that they were done for, even though love was not on the radar for either one. But sometimes destiny, and fate, has other ideas in mind for you.
This is such a lovely story. Stella is such a sweet character, she's kind and caring, she has an innocence about her, but she's also strong and determined. Jack, oh my, what do I say about Jack?!? I flove him! I've never used that word before so that should tell you something! He's smart, undeniably sexy, patient, caring, generous...he is everything you could ever imagine wanting in a man. The relationship that develops between them is so special, so extraordinary, so pure. There's an instant attraction that runs deeper than just the physical- it's like something just clicked into place for each of them the moment they met.
"That's what you do to me, Stella. You make time stand still, every second counts, every moment means something."
Freeing Destiny shows us that although you may have your life mapped out, everything planned down to the last detail, you need to be open to unexpected chances, unexpected changes...to open yourself up to all of life's possibilities. You never know what might be around that next corner.
